Today we’re going to talk about how my team creates a ton of content from a single video, just like this one. If you have a business and you’re wondering how you can be in a lot of places and put out a lot of good stuff that helps a lot of people, and gets you a lot of attention, without having to do a lot of work, this is the video for you. All right, let’s dive in, let’s do it.

Hey, what’s going on? I’m Ben Adkins, and if this is your first time watching a video from me, I always like to talk about how you can build your business in a way that you can run it from anywhere, from a backpack. Specifically, how can you build a multi million dollar business from anywhere in the world using just what you can fit in a backpack and an internet connection?

So, if you’d like to be alerted every time we come out with new videos, click the subscribe button, and make sure you click that bell notification. That’s going to set you up so you get an alert every time we have a new video, just like this, come out. Okay, so today we’re going to talk about how you can create a ton of amazing content just by starting with a video just like the one you’re watching now.

So, we’re going to talk about five key things, five key things that my team and I produce very quickly week after week. And it all starts right here with this video that I’m recording with you right now. So, let’s talk about this. You want to put out good stuff into the world. And the reason you want to put out good stuff is because you’ve got a product to sell, and to sell that product, you’ve got to overcome all the noise that’s out there in the world. And to do that, you’ve got to put out a lot of good stuff, most of the time.

And as the years start to progress, it’s going to get to where you have to put out more and more good stuff. Now, that can seem overwhelming, and it can seem like I don’t even need to try, because what’s the point? What’s the point of starting all this stuff if there’s so much that I need to produce? Well, you’ve got to have a system to do it, and I want to tell you the five things that we produce when we do it.

So, number one is a video. Everything in my business starts with me starting in front of a camera, like this, looking down just below the camera if you’re paying close attention, looking down just below the camera at an iPad that has a presentation on it with five or so bullet points that sort of walk me through what I’m going to talk to you about.

So, how this works is I’ll sit down, I’ll take a look at a list of topics that I think are going to be interesting and are going to be strategic for us to create content on. And I’ll create a PowerPoint slide, or a keynote slide. And when I do that, I will then open my iPad, I’ll put it into that, I’ll put it down below the camera and you can’t it, but it’s sitting right there. And I’ll give a video like this.

Now, what this turns into is two key things for us. It turns into a YouTube video, and we try to release two videos a week. And it also turns into a Facebook video, so a video that goes up on Facebook. Now, that’s two pieces of content, that’s two things that we’ve got, but we wouldn’t want to stop there, right? We want more stuff out of this.

So, out of this particular video that I cut, how do we actually turn that into more cool stuff in a very easy way? Well, immediately once we get done with this video, two key things are happening as the video’s getting edited. Number one, we send it off to be transcribed, so they’re going to take a look at the video and they’re going to turn it into words. And those words end up being captions on videos, things like that. But also, it’s a very good thing for us to have for our blog. But we’ll get into that in a second.

The second thing that we create is the easiest, video to audio. So, also while this video is being edited, it gets turned into straight audio. And that audio typically becomes a podcast that we release a little bit down the road from when the video actually went live, so I don’t have to always be creating podcasts and videos separatly.

So, then, you’ve got to think, two videos a week, one podcast a week, we now have three major pieces of content that are coming out during a week that talk about the topics that our folks are interested in.

Okay, so from that, that’s two things, we have a video, we have a podcast from the audio that we’ve got. Then, as I said, we’re going to transcribe this stuff. Now, every so often we also take the topics that we’ve got, because we think they’ll play really well, and we get someone to watch the video, or listen to the audio, and write a blog post on exactly what I talked about in the video. So, we’ll have a writer that we’ll hire in to come in and take the video, turn it into something that’s written.

So, from that point, what do we do? We’ve got three key things that have come out so far, all things that can be shared. If you’re paying attention, of those three things, two videos a week, one audio that came from the video, and one blog post that came from the video. That gives us four major pieces of content that we can share, and start pushing out there. But then we also take these little bite sized pieces. So, every video that I cut like this, we will typically pull five or so pieces of this that we’ll go out and promote the main video.

So, let’s say this video goes up on YouTube, we’ll put all these little bite sized chunks of it up on Instagram and Facebook, and those end up promoting back to the video. So, if you’re paying attention, five or six per video, that’s a lot of video content, that’s little bite size chunks that go out to. So, that’s the fourth thing we do.

The fifth thing that we do is out of all of the things that I do on video, we’ll typically pull quotes from those. And we’ll pull little quotes here and there, and those end up being those nice little quote cards, that you see on my Facebook, that have little quotes of something that I’ve said that is quotable and sharable. And then we’ll get a ton of content that comes out of that.

So, that’s it. Out of one video, this one video that we’re creating just like this right now, what ends up coming out of it is, is you get a video, you get a podcast, you get a blog post, you get at least five little bite sized videos out of every video that we do that’s sharable and leads back to the main. And then you also get several quote cards that are just a static image that we put up on our social media.

So, from this one video, we have a machine, we do this for our clients, and we do this for us. We have a machine that after this video gets out of the camera here and into the computer that I’m about to upload it to, it goes through a process where it turns into a lot of content. And you can do that too.

The reason you’d want to do it is because it generates a ton of attention for your business that leads back to your sales pages, leads back to your office. Gets people clamoring about what you’re doing.

Okay, so I hope you enjoyed that.
